Fojanga - Who We Are

Fojanga Academy is a private school, born in 2020 , from the initiative of 3 partners who put their head and resources together to continue where Fojanga foundation had stopped.

Although, Fojanga Foundation and Fojanga Academy have the same name , they are currently 2 different entities legally.  Fojanga Academy has greatly been inspired by the Play and Learn philosophy for which Fojanga Foundation Kindergarten was known.

VISION:

To be an academic hub that provides a child centered, play based curriculums that builds life skills, love of learning, personal qualities and critical thinking skills, a global perspective and confidence to support each child achieve their full potential.

In order to achieve this vision, Fojanga Academy will:

  • – Work together with teacher and parent to build a safe, respectful and nurturing environment focused on maximizing each child’s sense of wellbeing and acquisition of skills for life and learning.
  • – Ensure that the children at our school are provided with high-quality learning experiences based on a broad and diverse extra-curricular programme, focusing on STEAM approach( integration of Science, Technology, Art and Mathematic).
  • – Develop a forward-looking, technologically enhanced, and motivating learning environment.
  • – Promote good citizenship by modeling cooperation, mutual respect and kindness.
  • – Provide opportunities for family to be actively involved in the daily education and social growth of the Fojanga Academy community.
  • – Promote independence and a love for learning by creating lessons that are exciting, authentic, engaging, and relevant to the lives of the students.
  • – Instill open communication while respecting the confidentiality of student and parent communication.
  • – Maintain high expectations for staff members, seeking opportunities for continued professional growth.
  • – Demonstrate appreciation of diverse student and family needs.
